adding a personal touch to every match.
I’m 27, blessed with loving parents and three wonderful siblings.
Alongside managing Safarnama, I work in a startup,
enjoy writing, designing, and occasionally losing myself
in daydreams. You might be curious about what
Safarnama is all about and how this journey began,
let me help you !
It all started in 2016 when I was still a teenager juggling part-time work and studies. Growing up in a traditional setting, I often attended weddings, funerals, or community gatherings. These events left me feeling awkward and out of place, especially moments like the time I was awkwardly photographed beside someone for match-making. Though I was on cloud nine momentarily, the discomfort stuck with me—it was strike one for the concept of Safarnama.
As I matured, I witnessed more concerning patterns in our community—failed marriages, divorces, legal disputes, and instances of abuse. These stories painted a troubling picture of modern relationships. The trauma of seeing these issues unfold made me fear the erosion of the values our forefathers built. This became strike two.
A few months ago, I decided it was time to act. Using my savings, I designed a platform aimed at creating a better path for the next generation. After interviewing divorced individuals and exploring the challenges of reference-based marriages, it became clear that our traditional ways weren’t resonating with modern values. This realization was strike three—and Safarnama was born. Today, Safarnama stands as a bridge between tradition and modernity, built on stories of struggle, learning, and hope.
